Intrepid Travel

Intrepid Travel

Intrepid Travel was the brainchild of two individuals who followed their dreams, ignoring the distractions of the late 80s, to create something beautiful, something they both loved doing- a business model that revolved around adventure travel. What started as an epic road trip in the wild and desolate lands of Africa, soon emerged as a world-famous travel desk, one that offered unseen and unheard adventures to people around the world. Today, Intrepid Travel is responsible for helping out more than 100,000 tourists around the world and its staff of 1000 work tirelessly to ensure that each of the 800-odd itineraries that the company runs presents the perfect balance between adventure, culture, history and natural beauty. You’re in Good Hands Intrepid Travel organizes itineraries across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Australia and the Middle East. They even offer trips to the Arctic and Antarctica! No wonder that Intrepid grabbed countless awards and accolades over the years- from being the 2002 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year to winning the PATA award in the year 2007. Small Group Adventures You’re going to a new place, where the people, the language, the food, the customs, even the way of life feels different. As exciting as it sounds, you long to hold onto something that is relatable, something that gives your mind a sense of comfort. And this feeling of fellowship can never be found in large robot-like group tours. Exploring a destination in a small group not only lets you enjoy the personal attention of your guide, it also makes the journey more exciting, your companions more approachable. Hassle-Free Experiences There’s a reason we prefer to bank on the pros for all kinds of things in life- their unique skill sets, knowledge and experience lets them do the job better. The same goes for travel. Rather than doing everything yourself, relying on search engines and social media gossip only to realize that you made a colossal mistake after it’s too late, you’re better off leaving the planning and the organizing to the pros. There’s a reason why thousands depend on them after all!

G Adventures

G Adventures

G Adventures About Us Started by Bruce Poon Tip in the year 1990, G Adventures transformed from a young man’s vision into a global conglomerate in a very short amount of time. As an enthusiastic and passionate traveler, Bruce dreamt of sharing his travel experience with the world. Giving birth to G Adventures with nothing but personal credit cards, this one-man army soon emerged with over 2000 employees spread over 23 different offices all over the world. Now catering to more than 150000 travelers each year, G Adventures is truly one of the largest and most passionate tour operators out there. A Sense of Adventure Ever had that overpowering feeling of heading off to an adventure after watching movies like Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider? Adventure travel has a way of making you fall in love with the world, helping you discover yourself and learn unique skillsets as you explore the planet, meet new people and get your adrenaline pumping. G Adventures will help you do all that. Smaller Groups One of the biggest issues that most group travelers face is the group size. Most tour operators conduct tours in large groups which could spoil the entire experience. This is what makes G Adventures so different. We specialize in offering tours in smaller group sizes at some of the most exclusive places in the world, all at the best prices. A smaller group simply opens up your itinerary a little more, making it more accessible, proving security and companionship and offering enriching experiences with complete strangers. Travel Responsibly The world is a beautiful place to be in and traveling is probably the greatest gift that we can offer to ourselves and our loved ones. Enjoying a destination and becoming a part of its beautiful culture is a great thing to do, but it is equally important to ensure that you’re giving back to the community. From choosing local businesses and developing community based rural travel projects to offering disaster relief services and preventing animal abuse, G Adventures truly operates with the belief that travel is a medium of exchange, which means that they try and give back as much as possible to the local community. Quality Service As one of the most reputed travel operators on the planet, G Adventures is all about making your tours feel extra special. The company is a proud recipient of numerous awards, many of which highlight exactly how travel operators should be run. Some of the awards received by G Adventures include Baxter Travel Media Canada's Favourite Adventure Tour Operator, Readers Choice Best National Adventure Operator in Canada, Vacation.com Canada Specialty Tour Operator Partner of the Year and National Geographic Traveler's Tours of a Lifetime. So the next time you get one of those pangs, that lust for an adventure of a lifetime, all you have to do is choose your favorite destination, select your preferred G Adventures tour and dive into a world of mystery, excitement and endless fun. If you have any questions for us, please do not hesitate to contact us directly via the 'Make An Enquiry' button.

G Adventures specializes in explorer, chill out, active and outdoor, surfing, kitesurfing etc. & cultural, religious and historic sites and offers 15 trips in Australia with 2 reviews .

Trafalgar

Trafalgar Travel Trafalgar Travel is a family run travel company that has emerged as one of the key family-owned businesses around the world, an inspiration for countless others. Responsible for offering more than 230 exceptional travel experiences in destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, Central America and North America, Trafalgar Travel prides itself on its ability to offer insider experiences that enable guests to enjoy genuine experiences and authentic cultural insights with knowledgeable locals. Do What You Like You’re usually stuck with economical but congested guided tours or excellent but expensive private itineraries when you choose most travel companies. However, with Trafalgar Travel, you have the freedom to do what YOU like, without having to drain the wallet for the experience. The company offers seven holiday styles to make sure that they have something which caters to YOUR specific needs. But despite the differences, each offers some essential aspects that make each tour feel more special. A focus on insider experience lets you meet locals and discover the culture and heritage of the place they’re visiting. Your journey is always made easier so you don’t have to worry about what’s happening in the background and can concentrate only on enjoying yourself. And finally, every itinerary has a degree of flexibility and ample free time to ensure that your tour feels special, and doesn’t end up becoming a routine that you simply HAVE to do. Live in Style… Having the right hotel isn’t just about choosing the right amenities and luxuries. It is also about staying the right place, close to attractions you want to visit. The perfect hotel should also feel special. Whether it’s centrally located next to your attractions or shopping districts, or close to some of the best natural beauty in the city you’re visiting, the location makes ALL the difference in your itinerary. And then there’s the privilege of staying in authentic hand-picked hotels and resorts. For example, living in an ancient palace in India or staying at a 18th century watermill in France could make you remember your journey forever. We are the first to create Insider Experiences; enabling our guests to appreciate their destination through genuine local experiences, such as dining with locals in their homes. And we continue to evolve guided travel in new directions.

I just finished my amazing 28 day Australia East Coast trip. This trip provides you with a lot of great highlights, if you have an open mind about activities. You can experience and collect a lot of moments as i did and you will never forget this. I promise. Only a few highlights of this trip: -the breathtaking landscapes you can see at the Costal walks in Sydney or in Noosa. -the beach in Byron Bay. Less people and a good place to relaxe and recharging yourself after the first days of traveling. -explore K gari (Fraser Island) in 4x4-vehicles. Bumby and sandy roads, swiming in Lake McKenzie and Elli Creek We saw a lot of wild dingos and I have never seen such an incredible spangled sky. -Start the 3-days-Whitsunday sailing trip during rain with the development to an storm. But with an incredible crew and the funniest tour leader i have ever met,Paula, we managed this and after the storm comes the calm. Nevertheless, thanks Paula for being the tower of strength in this moment ‚ ‚ -Skydiving in Mission Beach ‘ -And last but not least the experience of scuba diving for the first time. I mean, is there any better place like the famous Great Barrier Reef for a first time experience? The answer for me is No A huge Thank you to Paula Kallinen for all the funny moments during the last 18 days. And also for all of the incredible conversations we had during this time. It was great to see and to hear, that you really love your job and shared this with us. You re the best And also thanks to Jay and Molly for the first 10 days. It was a pleasure to meet you guys.

Would 100% recommend Intro Travel . I did the 10 day oz intro from Sydney to Brisbane and it was great . My tour leader was Val , who was a great laugh and was very organised as well as helping sort out anything I needed after the tour ended. Would definitely do an intro travel again . I would recommend people do the 28 day trip as the 10 days flies by so fast and you want to stay with the great people that you meet

Picture This Ballooning

Picture This Ballooning

Picture This Ballooning is a family owned, Victorian business. We are Melbourne’s leading hot air balloon company for both passenger flights and special shape advertising balloons. We are a successful and professional organisation dedicated to the enjoyment and safety of our passengers. Due to our extensive experience in aerial advertising, our special shape advertising campaigns are a marketing success for all the clients we represent. We have been flying hot air balloons since 1997. We are based in Melbourne and are a global hot air ballooning company. Our hot air balloon flying takes us all over Australia and the World; mostly for work, sometimes sport and occasionally just for fun. Our first hot air balloon was a 92 ft high giant flying Sherrin football built for the opening of Etihad Stadium. We regularly fly over Melbourne, Yarra Valley, Daylesford and Ballarat.

I have to congratulate Jess and Picture This for a fantastic experience in booking the flights today. Jess was FANTASTIC. She was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in explaining everything I wanted to know along with being courteous and extremely professional. It was a pleasure having her on the other end of the phone helping me make a decision on booking my Christmas presents. She went beyond what one has come to expect from a customer service representative in this day and age, and I have to say I have booked two flights with Picture This based fully around Jess's friendly and professional manner. I went from hoping to make some polite enquiries of a number of different companies to booking and paying for two people on flights with your company simply due to her pleasant manner. The whole process including receiving my e-ticket was completed within the space of one call. Please pass on my comments to Jess and thank her for helping make the process so easy.

Fantastic tour with a knowledgeable & super efficient guide. Great group. Beautiful scenery & wildlife. Beaches & mountains spectacular. Beautiful sunrise & sunsets. Lovely food, plenty of variety & enough of it. Sleeping in the swag a novel experience & much more comfortable than I expected. Definitely recommend this company.
Incredible Experience. The tour was well planned, and so much fun, covering all of the highlights along the East Coast. Made friends for life, and continuing my travels around Asia with the people I met at Intro.
Amazing experience, everything ran smoothly, and I couldn’t recommend it any more than - DO IT! Best time of my life on this tour, action packed days and it was so good to see different parts of Sydney and the wider area you might not have normally. Great value for money!

Untamed Escapes

"Excellent way to see Australia in an authentic way and meet new people. Our guide Tom W was very knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and helpful throughout the 8 days we spent on the road together. As a small group we were well catered for and if we had any questions Tom was right there to help night and day. There was a good mix of driving, hiking and exploring local sights on our way north. The sights and experiences on this trip were exceptional and I feel grateful I got to enjoy them at such a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone keen to discover the South Australian outback and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Sydney Harbour Sunset Australia

the  best Places to Visit in Australia

Australia is full of unique sights, cities and landscapes. One day you can be swimming in turquoise beaches and then riding camels into the desert sunset the next. There’s always something for everyone to enjoy. Need more inspiration for your trip? Check out our guide on the top Australia vacation spots.

Sydney Harbour from above

Sydney is on almost every traveler’s bucket list. It’s undeniably one of the world’s most gorgeous harbor cities, with sparkling turquoise waters edging lush botanical gardens, vibrant harbor precincts and the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Most vacations begin with Sydney, as it’s the perfect combination of everything Australia has to offer: world-famous landmarks, fantastic food and wine, thriving arts and music scenes, sun-kissed beaches, and some of the most amazing coffee you’ll ever taste.

Tour the Sydney Opera House and catch a show after dining at one of many delightful restaurants along the Sydney Harbour. Test your courage and take in the gorgeous views of the city on an exciting Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. Take a cruise along the harbor and stop at various landmarks, such as Luna Park, Barangaroo, Taronga Zoo and of course, the Sydney Opera House. Pick up a surfboard and learn how to surf in Bondi Beach, where golden sands and remarkably blue waters make for a gorgeous beach in the heart of Sydney.

If you’re feeling a little restless, the Bondi Beach to Coogee coastal walk takes you along some of Sydney’s best beaches and boasts spectacular coastal views. You won’t be able to resist rolling out your towel on any of Sydney’s beaches.

Check out our Sydney travel packages for an unforgettable vacation. With an incredible amount of things to see and do around Sydney, this city ranks at the top of our list for a family vacation .

We can create a travel package that includes tours (Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb is one of our favorites!), day trips to the Blue Mountains or Hunter Valley, and other destinations in your bucket list for your dream Australia vacation.

Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road

Melbourne is a stylish city with a distinct European feel about it. As one of Australia’s largest cities, Melbourne has something for everyone.

The city center is a whole hidden world of incredible cafes, bars, restaurants and shops featuring Melbourne’s best local food, coffee and shopping. Take a turn into its central laneways and arcades, narrow passageways decorated with colorful street art and hidden treasures.

A walking tour guided by a passionate local is one of the best ways to start your vacation in Melbourne. You’ll discover gems that won’t be found in guide books. Art lovers will want to explore the many art galleries, museums and theaters showcasing international masterpieces and unique local art. The thriving arts and music scenes are unrivaled anywhere else in Australia – even Sydney!

As the country’s sports capital, there’s no better place to experience Australia’s love of sports than in Melbourne. It’s home to the famous Australia Open, which draws travelers from around the world.

Less than 2 hours away from Melbourne is Phillip Island. Dotted with nature parks, local restaurants, irresistible beaches and stunning coasts, this is the perfect getaway from the pulse of city life. See koalas in the wild at the Koala Conservation Centre and the world’s tiniest penguins as they waddle across the beach back to their burrows on Phillip Island’s penguin parade.

Another iconic experience is the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia’s best road trips. Winding along breathtaking coasts, larger-than-life rock formations and amazing lookouts, this is the perfect road trip adventure for travelers looking for the unexpected! Check out our Melbourne packages for your perfect trip.

The Great Barrier Reef

No vacation to Australia is complete without seeing the Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of Queensland.

Make your base in Cairns or Port Douglas for an easy gateway to the reef. Located in Australia’s tropical Queensland, these destinations are all about board shorts, sandals and sun. Get up close and personal with the colorful marine life on a snorkeling tour of the coral reefs.

Don’t want to get wet? No worries – our trips include cruises complete with glass bottom boats and underwater viewing observatories, so you can enjoy the reef without dipping a single toe in the water.

For a unique Great Barrier Reef experience , head to Hamilton Island, Lizard Island, or Australia’s Whitsundays , a hidden tropical paradise. This is where Aussies (local Australians) go for their beach holidays, and once you set foot here you’ll soon see why. Sail across the Whitsunday Islands and walk on the untouched white sand of Whitehaven Beach – rated as one of the best beaches in the South Pacific.

Explore the Daintree Rainforest in Cairns, the oldest rainforest in the world. Go on an Aboriginal-guided tour of the tropical rainforest and spot cassowaries, crocodiles and other wildlife while learning about the ancient culture of Australia’s Aboriginal people.

Adelaide & Kangaroo Island

Adelaide is all about food and wine . Cultured, sophisticated, and filled with a ton of phenomenal places to wine and dine, Adelaide is your spot for cultural delights.

Taste your way through the vibrant city’s growing local beer scene, explore the burgeoning eateries hidden in laneways, and stroll along North Terrace, home to Adelaide’s cultural institutes such as the Art Gallery of South Australia and the South Australian Museum.

Enjoy a day of wine tasting in the Barossa Valley, Australia’s premiere wine growing region renowned around the world. With over 80 cellar doors, gourmet eateries, boutique shopping and small group tours, the Barossa makes for a truly indulgent stay.

Just across the water from Adelaide is Kangaroo Island . Known as Australia’s own zoo without fences, Kangaroo Island is famous for its green landscapes, pristine beaches and more wild kangaroos than humans.

Discover the thriving Australian wildlife that roam freely on guided walks and tours of Kangaroo Island’s landmarks. Hand-feed kangaroos, walk among sea lions, swim with wild dolphins and spot koalas snoozing in the trees. Kangaroo Island is the perfect destination for an Australia wildlife vacation.

Story Bridge, Brisbane. Photo Credit: Tourism & Events Queensland

Set along the Brisbane River, the city revels in sunshine and its love of the outdoors. Bike tours are a popular way to explore the city, and a guided climb on the gleaming Story Bridge is the perfect taste of adventure.

Many US travelers make Brisbane their base for visiting the Australia Zoo, made famous by Steve Irwin and his family. The Australia Zoo draws visitors from around the world for its passionate display of wildlife welfare and impressive exhibits.

Perth, Western Australia

Nestled on the west coast of Australia, Perth blends a sunny metropolis of vibrant bars, trendy restaurants and street art with scenic parks and white sand beaches.

In fact, Perth sees the most sunny days than any other capital city in Australia. Its size is enough to where you can discover a new place to enjoy a cold beer every night, yet small enough to where the charms of its parks and waterfront green spaces melt away the hustle and bustle of the city.

Explore Kings Park – one of the biggest parks in the world, larger than Central Park in New York City – or discover the history of the city on an Aboriginal-led tour.

Just 12 miles away from Perth lies Rottnest Island, a haven of golden beaches, turquoise water, and the most adorable Australian wildlife – the quokka! As a car-free island where bikes are the only mode of transportation, quokkas are adventurous enough to wander straight up to visitors and pose for pictures, complete with their world-famous grins.

Uluru campfire. Photo Credit: Tourism Australia

The Red Outback

Made famous as the setting of Crocodile Dundee, this region is more than just desert and crocodiles. Located in Australia’s Northern Territory, the Outback encapsulates a whole world of spiritual landmarks, ancient rock art, otherworldly landscapes, vibrant towns and cultural experiences.

Visit Alice Springs, the heart of the Outback, and see the sun rise above Uluru (Ayers Rock) , the glow of dazzling red hues changing colors across this sacred rock formation. Learn about Australia’s ancient Aboriginal culture and its deep ties to the mystical red desert of the Northern Territory.

Explore the tumbling waterfalls, lush gorges and sheer orange cliffs of Kakadu National Park, the largest national park in Australia.

Travel the Outback in style on one of Australia’s great rail journeys – the Ghan. With stops offering tours of authentic Outback destinations, you’ll experience the romance of train travel paired with rugged adventures.

Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park, Tasmania

Nature lovers and outdoor adventurers need to put Tasmania on their list. Teeming with unique wildlife, rugged coasts, wilderness regions and spectacular mountains, this island state feels like an entirely different world to mainland Australia.

Make its gorgeous capital city, Hobart, your base for exploring all Tasmania has to offer. Visit the provocative Museum of Old and New Art and taste some of Australia’s freshest seafood in vibrant waterfront restaurants.

Delve into Tasmania’s convict history in Port Arthur and explore the historic buildings haunted with a harsh past. Wander to Freycinet National Park for stunning blue bays, pink granite mountains, rich coastal forests and pure white sand beaches.

Discover the wooded trails and mirror lakes of Cradle Mountain, the perfect secluded retreat for mountain lovers. And of course, no stay in Tasmania is complete without meeting the famous Tasmanian devil!

Australia is famous for its gorgeous beaches and tropical lifestyle. You’ll get a taste of this laid-back vibe in Tropical North Queensland, where you’ll find a spectacular collection of beaches and waterfront adventures.

When you’re not exploring the underwater wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, head to Gold Coast for golden beaches framed by glamorous high-rises, barreling waves and subtropical hinterland.

Gold Coast is the jewel of glitz and glamor along the Australian coast – it’s the perfect place for Instragrammable photos!

Fraser Island

Spot humpback whales during Australia’s whale season as they migrate through the waters of Hervey Bay, just across Fraser Island.

As the only place in the world where rainforest grows on sand, Fraser Island is best explored on an 4WD adventure. Thrill seekers will want to join a 4WD tour across Fraser Island and explore its crystal clear creeks and the white sands of Lake McKenzie. Touch up your tan and take out your bikini – this will be your new happy place.

Noosa, in Australia’s Sunshine Coast, is popular with the locals for its stunning national park, walking trails, markets, and beaches. This is the land of surfing competitions and extreme water sports, so if you’re looking for adventure, Noosa is the perfect destination.

Important Australia Travel Tips

It’s important to remember that Australia is almost the same size of the US. Hitting some of the best destinations in Australia – such as Sydney, Cairns and Melbourne – is like traveling from Miami to New York then Houston. Definitely not something you want to do by car in just three days, especially when driving is on the other side of the road!

You also want to give yourself enough time in each destination. You could easily spend a few days exploring just one city.

When is the best time to go to Australia?

How much does a trip to australia cost.

The cost of an Australia vacation depends on many factors. The time of year you want to go, how long you want to travel, and even where you want to go all affects the cost. This also depends on how you want to travel. Are you on a budget and looking for the best deals? Do you want to splurge and make it a luxurious vacation?

Traveling to Australia in May, Australia’s low season, will be less expensive than traveling in December, the high season. Staying in Sydney will be more expensive than staying in Cairns, since Sydney is one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the world.

The biggest expense will be the international flights, which usually range between $1,300 – $2,000 for round trip tickets in economy class. When planning your Australia vacation, we search for the best rates on flights with trusted airline partners. We’ve seen round trip flights to Australia for prices much lower than the average range, and make sure you get the best deal with included internal flights.

A typical Australia vacation for two adults ranges between 9 days to 2 weeks and includes international flights, hotels, some included tours and flights within Australia, costing several thousands. Our vacation deals include the best rates with airlines and hotels we inspect and tours that we trust.

For deal seekers, we often have travel package deals starting from below $3,000 per person. For travelers who want a fully custom travel package with all flights, hotels, tours and transportation included, prices will begin to increase. We can work with your budget and find you the best savings when we create a custom Australia vacation package.

How many days should I spend in Australia?

Most travelers from the US have a limited amount of time for an Australian vacation. Since Australia is so far from the US, it’s important to give yourself enough time to experience different destinations without rushing your trip.

It’s recommended to spend at least 9 days on vacation in Australia, which gives you 7 nights in the country. This is because as you fly to Australia, you travel across the International Date Line, which pushes you into the next day. However, you gain that lost day back on your return flight to the US.

Most US travelers spend 9 to 14 days on vacation in Australia, which allows enough time to see the major highlights and travel comfortably without feeling rushed. Australia is a huge country – almost as big as the United States – you don’t want to spend your whole time rushing from one city to another!

Our travel packages can be customized to extend your stay. We create one week vacations in Australia all the way to even 3 months and more!

Let’s Plan Your Australia Vacation!

We’re Australians living in Texas. Planning trips to Australia from the USA is our passion. From our sale of Australia trips we support the local communities and small businesses, both here in the US and at home in Australia and throughout the South Pacific.

We feel great about what we do, and we love to receive feedback that our clients had the “trip of a life-time” – take a look at our reviews! To help inspire you to travel to Australia for your next trip, browse our Australia vacation package above. We also plan escorted Australia tours and inclusive vacation packages that take care of everything you need for your trip Down Under.

Remember, all of our trips can be tailored into custom vacation packages to suit your needs!

Michael truly is the best ! Planned an amazing 20 day trip to Australia and New Zealand and we are just at the tail end heading home soon. Everything was just as he described ! A truly seamless perfect family holiday, tailored to our needs - thanks to Michael ! Don’t hesitate ... just contact Michael and then look forward to the best holiday ever!

Lisa Mansour & Family

If you are planning a trip to Australia, and are anxious about seeing it all and doing it right, look no further than Michael Nees! He will plan the most perfect vacation and take the stress away from you. We traveled from the US, and had 10 days to enjoy as much as we could of Australia. It was the trip of a lifetime! Sydney, Blue Mountains, Port Douglas/Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, and Melbourne all in 10 days and the way that Michael arranged tours and flights, it never felt like we were rushed or on the move too much. Just the right amount of planned activities and free time. We can't wait to plan a New Zealand trip and will definitely use Michael and GUEST.

Mike & Megan Family

Let me start out with thank you!!! It was a trip of a lifetime, we can’t put into words the how amazing the experience was. Your work towards our trip was fantastic and we would be honoured to be listed as a reference for folks looking for a similar journey. You did a wonderful job relating to our needs. We had some really neat pictures of the Koala bears in the Daintree experience, our guide for the day called the outfit after we left and requested they email them to me. We are now home and back to the grindstone. The girls have informed me we definitely need to plan on another trip in similar fashion. Thanks again Mike & Megan and family.

Mindy Ross – Lifestyle Travellers

I hired Michael to design a trip to Australia and New Zealand. It was important to me to use someone local and with deep knowledge of the areas to be traveled. Michael was spot on with respect to the resulting itinerary, duration, accommodations, and activities. The flow of the trip was just the right combination of relaxation and adventure. Each and every accomodation was off the hook fabulous. The amount of time in each place was perfect and the daily activities were memorable and perfectly suited to our wish list. I highly recommend Michael as a travel designer for the best down under vacation imaginable!!

Garrett & Ana – Honeymooners

I cannot thank Michael enough for helping us plan a memorable honeymoon in New Zealand, our trip was flawless and Michael's support throughout was incredible. A true professional, German efficiency delivered in a Kiwi friendly manner! Specifics would be Michael’s organisation skills and dedication to helping us plan our holiday. Michael took numerous skype calls to explain and clarify things and was an incredible guiding hand in helping us decide where we stayed and what we did. During our time in New Zealand, Michael was always on hand to support and deal with any issues to help our holiday run smoothly. Taking a phone call late in the evening to rearrange a trip early the following morning is one case that springs to mind. There are few people I know who would have the dedication to ring you at 7am the following morning to make sure everything is okay! I cannot recommend Michael enough. Anyone who is planning a trip to New Zealand would do well to just sit back and let Michael take care of things. You are in safe, professional hands.

Susan & Robert Lunson – Lifestyle Travellers

My husband and I have just returned from 28 days in Australia and New Zealand. We have traveled independently and as part of tours. For this trip we decided to try working with a travel company. I stumbled upon Guest New Zealand and was most impressed with the reviews where people mentioned if they had a problem, a phone to Michael fixed it right away. That sold me on working with him, even before I met him. Michael did not disappoint. He put together a great itinerary that had us in 5 cities in Australia and driving both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The B & B's were wonderful, the staffs attentive. The hotels were first class. And the tours were varied and fascinating, with enough time on our own for miles and miles of walking discovery. Every detail was covered. Michael always returned our calls promptly and always seemed to be smiling on the other end of the call. We would love to return and if and when we do, Michael will be planning our next trip. The next one will include train rides, ok, Michael?
