Like everyone else says on here, good job, but tough. Be ready to hit the ground running. I personally like the weekly pay and 3 days off. Buy good shoes and insules because your feet will start to ache and hurt and some energy bars for a boost. Always busy, but the rewards are good.

Go into Amazon knowing you’re going to work hard. But also go into Amazon knowing you’re working hard so the customers can browse, click, and purchase whatever they want, and get it as soon as they want. It’s hard work. A lot of standing, walking, bending, moving and lifting. It’s 100MPH everyday. The place is huge. It’s loud, it’s constantly fluid, non-stop. It’s a giant playground for the eyes and ears! Hi everyone! Benny and I started as seasonal together here at Amazon! Four weeks later we turned into full-time employees to be hired to the company! I work here. At this time I'm glad to be working here and not someplace else. I've know individuals who have needed a grievance. Some jobs are like, " sorry your mum died. Coming in Friday?" (Literally happened to me) won't name the company, it was just bad management. Here there's wriggle room for rainy days. There's been a lot of support put in during covid 19. I don't think I'd survive if the company had not put in some policies to fit some of the trialsome circumstances.

I'm happy to work there and to have a job it's clean they offer good benefits you get good hours , covid-19 testing,you learn something different I don't have any complaits.

Very good experience, my reason to visit this place was that my sons went for a pre hire interview, and all security was very helpful to give us directions where to park and where to go, as far of social distance and facemasks also well enforced.

Been applying but the website won't let me in , lol ... so I'll just give up on them because I apply online they tell me to go in and they say they don't have any of my info, I done this 3 times in the last 5 days, and I wasn't the only one with that problem ,so they don't care if they did they would focus on fixing it and at least letting u apply so they can have ur info but they keep sending you home, so when it comes to Amazon there's no hope I don't have their back because they don't got mine, plane and simple

The facility is a little overcrowded and unorganized but I think it's just because it's a massive distribution hub. Still 5 stars

Do you offer private group tours?

At this time, we are not offering private Amazon tours, but we always welcome group registrations up until we reach public tour capacity.

How do I upload or update my cover letter?

Being a peculiar company, we don't accept cover letters. Just ensure your resume is up to date and you're all set.

What if I don’t have a formal resume or CV to enter into the form?

It's recommended to have a resume or CV. If you don't have a resume, it is still okay to apply. Just be sure to fill in a brief description of your background, experience (with dates of employment), educational achievements, and skills. This information is necessary to evaluate candidates. Applications without this information will not be considered.

If you are interested in a warehouse/associate position in an Amazon Fulfillment Center, you do not need to have a resume to apply. Learn more about the application process here.

Should I send samples of my work (writing, code, designs, etc.) with my resume or CV?

If you're selected for an interview, we may request work samples. If we do, we'll let you know where you should send them. However, if public copies of your work are available for viewing online, including links on your resume is a good idea.

We regularly post new positions and remove positions that are no longer open. We also actively remove roles that have been filled. If a job is not listed, that means we are no longer taking applications for the position at this time.

What's the status of my application?

We follow federal requirements when we review resumes and only contact candidates we'd like to learn more about. My application status hasn't changed. Who can I contact for an update?

Your dashboard is regularly being updated to display the most up-to-date status information relating to each application. When an application status changes, your dashboard is updated in almost real-time to reflect this new status.

When does my application move from Active to Archived?

An application is considered active as long as a final decision has not yet been made. If an applicant withdraws their application, is hired for a role, or is no longer under consideration, their application will be archived.

Amazon-Linked Development Companies Want To Build Distribution Warehouse Between Pullman & Moscow

CLARIFICATION: The land is currently owned by Sand Road Bucklers 2 LLC as the perspective sellers with Roy Druffel’s signature.

Amazon-linked development companies have filed an application to build a distribution warehouse off the Moscow-Pullman Highway.

“Project Cougar” is being proposed by Ambrose Property Group and Kimley-Horn.  The companies have built distribution centers for Amazon around the country.  The application to Whitman County doesn’t include any reference to the online retail giant based out of Seattle.

The plan calls for construction of a 29,000 square foot warehouse distribution facility East of Airport Road and North of State Route 270.  The approximate address is 5900 Airport Road.  The application shows that the developers are perspective buyers for 14 acres needed for the warehouse.  Roy Druffel currently owns the land.  The warehouse will be up to 35 feet high and include an additional 14,000 square foot steel canopy.  The facility would store and distribute products, materials, food, groceries and liquor items.  Up to 200 workers would be employed at the warehouse which would operate everyday 24 hours a day.  The applicants have conducted a traffic study and noise study and say the warehouse will not adversely affect adjacent properties or the current road system.  A private drive off Airport Road will access the warehouse.  A private well will be drilled to provide water and fire flow protection for the building.  The developers hope to start building the warehouse distribution facility this fall and have it completed in the spring of next year.

The applicants must still be granted a Conditional Use Permit from the Whitman County Board of Adjustment.  The first step in that process is Washington State Environmental Policy Act Checklist approval which has been completed.  Earlier this spring the Whitman County Planning Department printed the public notice for the project in the legal section of the weekly Whitman County Gazette newspaper out of Colfax.  The SEPA public comment period and appeal window passed with a mitigated determination of non-significance from the county planner.  Alan Thomson ruled that the developers must have a storm water runoff plan and erosion control measures must be used.  Thomson is also requiring that outdoor lighting be shielded downward.

With the SEPA process completed the next opportunity for public comment is the CUP public hearing.  That will take place on July 25 th in the county courthouse in Colfax.
