Activity Schedule

We gather at our starting point. All drivers must have their license on them (category B). All participants are encouraged to have trainers, sunscreen, a bathing suit, water shoes and towel with them. We provide bandanas and protective eyewear for all. Before leaving we brief everyone on the safety measures that need to be taken during the tour. For the duration of the tour, we offer ice-cold water in order to avoid dehydration.

We set off at 9am with our guide in the leading buggy and the group in tow. Our off-road begins 20' into the trip when we reach Keri.

Our first stop is at Marathias, where we take panoramic photos of Marathonisi Island. We then continue through the dense forest of marathias to our next stop.

Our second stop is above the Mizithres Islands viewpoint for photos.

Nice countryside place with a legend about its name. The local legend says that Andronios was a dragon 300 meters tall that has made the 12 wells of Agalas village and has given them his name.

We stop at Korakonisi to relax and swim.

We leave Korakonisi and drive through Agios Leon, both on and off road until we reach Loucha, where we stop for lunch. A traditional Greek lunch is served at an old farmhouse under the cool shade of giant trees. It is completely private and solely for our group. Our food is vegan friendly. Unlimited soft drinks but no alcohol is provided.

After lunch we begin our final stretch of the tour with an off-road drive through the Loucha Valley, down Kiliomenos Village and back to Laganas. The entire tour covers approximately 80km in distance, most of which is off-road.

There are plenty of do’s and don’ts when it comes to renting a quad bike or moped in Zante. Below we will give you the ins and outs of renting a quad in Zante.

Full UK Licence

In order to rent a quad or ped in Zante you do need a full UK licence . Unfortunately there’s just no way around that and anyone who tries to rent you one without we would suggest not doing it. You can get into some serious trouble if the worst comes to the worst and you do have a crash.

Shop Around

We would suggest going up and down the strip to find out who has the best prices, there are literally 100s of quad and ped shops. They all work their prices out based on their demand and every ones price is negotiable. We would suggest not taking the first offer, have a shop around and try find the best price for you.

Wear Your Helmet

This obviously goes without saying, even thought it may not look so cool your safety is the most important thing. Driving in Zante is a lot different to the UK. You are on the wrong side of the road, taxis do go down the strip extremely fast looking for their next fare and we unfortunately do see a lot of accidents year on year. Keeping your helmet on not only keeps you safe but also if you get caught not wearing it it’s a £100 fine.

Don’t Drink & Drive

Another obvious one but drink driving is what causes most of the accidents in Laganas. Its really not worth it, everything is within walking distance or a taxi is literally £6 to get back from anywhere in Laganas to your hotel. Don’t be that person.

If You Break It You Pay For It

Even though you are insured when you take out a quad or ped rental in Zante you are only insured 3rd party meaning you are only covered for damages if it’s someone else’s fault. If you crash you will have to pay for the damage unfortunately which leads into the above points. We would also recommend checking your rental before you drive away so you are confident there’s not existing damage that they might try and charge you for later.

• TRANSPORTING THE MOTORCYCLE BY FERRY It is strictly prohibited to transport the rental motorcycle by ferry.
• WHERE DO I PICK UP FROM? We can bring the motorcycle to the airport, port, your accommodation or you can come and collect it from our office in Kalamaki.
• IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE? There is no charge for delivery except for out of office hours (21.00hrs - 09.00hrs) and for delivery and collection to the far North of the Island.
• IS THERE A DAILY KILOMETER LIMIT? There is no limit on the kilometers you can cover.
• WHAT DO I DO IF THE MOTORCYCLE BREAKS DOWN OR IF HAVE AN ACCIDENT? All of our motorcycles are prepared by a fully trained mechanic, but if a problem does occur you should stay where you are and call us. We will then get somebody to assist you as soon as possible.
