Sheryl Crow has unveiled details of a 2024 UK tour – check out the full list of dates below.

The musician will play a headline show at The Piece Hall in Halifax in June, a gig that will be followed by dates at Black Deer Festival in Kent, Nocturne Live in Oxfordshire and a further headline show at Hampton Court Palace.

JUNE 13 – The Piece Hall, Halifax 15 – Black Deer Festival 16 – Nocturne Live at Blenheim Palace 18 – Hampton Court Palace Festival Back in November, Crow shared details of her new studio album, ’Evolution’, alongside her bouncy new single ‘Alarm Clock’.

‘Evolution’ will be the singer-songwriter’s 11th studio album and is set for release on March 29, 2024 via The Valory Music Group.

Speaking about the surprise return, Crow said in a social media statement: “This music and these lyrics came from sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place. I said I’d never make another record, thought there was no point to it. But this music comes from my soul. And I hope whoever hears this record can feel that.”

“Everything is more song oriented now with streaming, and making an album is a huge endeavor,” she continued. “I started sending just a couple of demos to Mike, but the songs just kept flowing out of me and it was pretty obvious this was going to be an album.”

The album has been produced by Mike Elizondo ( Dr. Dre , Maroon 5 ), who also co-wrote ‘Alarm Clock’ with Crow and Emily Weisband.

Crow also stopped off on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, performing ’Alarm Clock’ for the first time in public.

Crow was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month as part of the 2023 class that also included  Kate Bush , Missy Elliott , Rage Against the Machine , Willie Nelson,   George Michael  and The Spinners. Crow performed alongside Olivia Rodrigo during the induction ceremony in New York.

It is not the first time that Rodrigo and Crow will have played together. In September, they collaborated on a version of Crow’s 1996 hit ‘If It Makes You Happy’ , and last year, Crow presented Rodrigo with the Woman Of The Year Award at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards .

Sheryl Crow’s show is a excellent review of her songs from her albums. They are performed in a graceful style. From all her hits and more. “All I Wanna Do”, “If It Makes You Happy” and “My Favorite Mistake” we’re among the hits she and her band performed. My husband and I throughly enjoyed the show.

As usual Sheryl Crow did not let us down! She rocked the look as well as rocked the Lowry with a two hour set of hits, album tracks and new songs. This inspirational icon of a woman played a multitude of guitars and at changeover these were swapped and handed over to her by her two adorable boys. The rest of the band were as talented as always. Guitar slides, solo's were top notch. There is nothing that I didn't enjoy only that it had to sadly come to an end. Thanks Sheryl Crow, you and the band were sensational.

Still an amazing voice as good as the hits on cd

Excellent show and really got the crowd going from start to finish with hit after hit as well as some great new tracks

Sheryl Crow is heading to the UK for a string of live dates in 2024 it has been confirmed.

The rock icon will be performing at The Piece Hall in Halifax on 13 th  June, headlining Kent’s Black Deer Festival on 15 th  June, performing at Nocturne Live in Oxfordshire on 16 th  June, and headlining Hampton Court Palace Festival on 18 th  June.

The 2024 UK live show announcements follow the news that Crow will release her 11 th  full-length studio album ‘Evolution' on 29 th  March 2024. The star had publicly stated that she would not release another album after ‘Threads' (2018), making the news of ‘Evolution' even more exciting.

Sheryl Crow reveals her tour must-haves and essential albums, including this 'game changer'

Sheryl Crow had no intention to write another album after 2019's "Threads."

But the combination of a mind overloaded with concern for the future and a series of songs that seemed to tumble out of her led to "Evolution," her 12 th studio album, released in March.

On it, the newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee tackles her fears about artificial intelligence on the title track, blends expert snark with humor ("Anger sucks, but at least your brand's trending," she sings on "Broken Record") and covers Peter Gabriel's 1992 classic "Digging in the Dirt."

It's an organic progression for the woman who has sold more than 50 million albums since 1993's debut, "Tuesday Night Music Club," earned nine Grammy Awards and climbed the Billboard Hot 100 19 times with hits including "If It Makes You Happy," "All I Wanna Do" and "My Favorite Mistake."

In a conversation from her home studio in Nashville, Crow, 62, shares her essential albums and tells us why her upcoming tour dates will be more of a family affair than a boisterous party scene.

Why Sheryl Crow prefers to write in a quiet space

In announcing her new album, Crow said the songs came from "sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place."

As mother to sons Levi, 13, and Wyatt, 16, Crow says she often finds herself engaged in their active lives, so her writing sessions primarily take place when the boys are in school.

"I sit on the screened-in porch, and if it's cold I'll light a fire, and if not, I sit out with the sounds of birds and my guitar and a cup of tea. That's where I worked out most of what is on this record," she says. "It's sort of like downloading (your mind) now, and it's liberating. I hate being on the other side of when you age out of being popular, but it's liberating to sit down and write what is on your mind, and know there is probably a huge population of people who understand that."

Sheryl Crow is done partying on tour but anticipates 'adventure'

Crow will head to Europe this summer for a couple of weeks of shows before meeting up with Pink in August to open a slate of concerts on her Summer Carnival stadium tour.

Crow's sons will join her in Europe, even though "they're of the age where maybe going on tour bus isn't where they want to spend their summer," she says with a laugh. But she's hoping for an "adventure" with her family while keeping things low-key backstage and on the bus.

"I'm really easy. We have our general snacks and I like to drink a beer, maybe two if I'm feeling, 'Hey, let's get loose.' But that's the extent of that. If my kids are there, I'm happy."

Sheryl Crow names her 'game changer' album

Crow enjoyed an almost surreal experience at her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in November when she performed with upstarts ( Olivia Rodrigo ), legends (Willie Nelson, Elton John ) and friends ( Stevie Nicks , Peter Frampton) on the same night.

Music is a necessity in her life, and she taps George Harrison's triple album from 1970, the lauded "All Things Must Pass," as her "game changer."

"I just remember as a kid reading album notes, and for him to step out (from the band) … we Beatles fans didn't know what he was fully capable of, and that album blew my mind," Crow says. "I think it planted some seeds to seeking some higher vibration. I've come back to it through the years and picked up things like, 'Oh yeah, that's what he meant.'"

As a lifelong Beatles disciple, Crow also still gravitates toward "Let It Be," the band's final studio album, released in 1970.

"I was brought into the world with a certain amount of melancholy, and there is a lot of that in that record, the essence that it was all coming apart even though you didn’t know it," she says. "But you felt different personalities on the record and the songwriting was so beautiful."

Sheryl Crow explains the 'divinity' of Stevie Wonder

Crow still drifts toward Stevie Wonder, musically and personally, and admires his aura as well as his landmark 1972 album, "Talking Book."

"He was such an amazing writer when it came to documenting what was happening in the times and he made it hooky. We all sang every word," she says. "I'll look at him and think, 'There is so much divinity there.' All of the rest of us are trying to learn, and he just came in with it. In the history of musicians, there are a handful of people like that. It was part of the essential DNA."

Crow also maintains a soft spot for "Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon," the 1971 James Taylor record that includes his only No. 1 hit, the Carole King-written "You've Got a Friend."

Crow recalls lying on the floor of her childhood home in front of the record player and absorbing Taylor's understated storytelling.

"It lifts me, it opens me. It's beautiful songwriting and singing," she says. "Music is a salve. I remember meeting Carlos Santana and him saying, 'You really change the molecules.' And that statement is the summation of what I think music is."

Southern Avenue Plots European Tour, U.S. Dates With Sheryl Crow & Keb’ Mo’

Grammy-nominated Memphis blues outfit Southern Avenue  has announced an assortment of new 2022 tour dates including a lengthy European run, a five-show U.S. run supporting  Sheryl Crow and  Keb’ Mo’ and more.

A family band to its core, Southern Avenue is built around sisters Tikyra Jackson (drums) and Tierinii Jackson (lead vocals) and lead guitarist Ori Naftaly , who is married to Tierinii. In addition to keyboardist  Jeremy Powell and bassist  Evan Sarver , the band now features a third Jackson sister, Ava , on backing vocals.

The busy touring schedule for Southern Avenue comes in support of the group’s acclaimed 2021 record,  Be The Love You Want .

“I can’t believe we’re FINALLY going on the road and sharing this music with the universe!” says Tierinii Jackson of the forthcoming tour. “We put our heart and soul into this. These songs were meant to uplift and get you grooving in the right direction!”

In early March 2020, the band was on tour in Norway when the world started to shut down. “We literally escaped after the first few shows and got back to the U.S. just as they were shutting the borders,” says Ori Naftaly of the experience. “We had to cancel a week of shows in Denmark (and over 150 more upon our return). Really excited to get back to Europe and play live… we didn’t know if this would ever be doable again.”

“We’re blessed to do what we do,” Tierinii adds. “We don’t take any of this for granted.”

Pink Extends Summer Carnival Tour into 2024 with Support from Sheryl Crow, The Script and More

The pop star will play 17 more shows across North America next summer and fall

Summer may be months away, but Pink wants to keep the dream of the Summer Carnival alive in 2024. 

On Tuesday, the pop-rock superstar, 44, announced that she’s extending her massive Summer Carnival stadium tour for another year into 2024. She’ll be hitting the road across North America on 17 all-new dates in summer 2024, joined by special guest and fellow hitmaker Sheryl Crow , as well as the rock band The Script and DJ/hip-hop act KidCutUp . 

The latest North American leg of the Summer Carnival Tour begins on Aug. 10 in St. Louis, Missouri and will see stops at iconic stadiums in major cities like the “So What” singer’s hometown of Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and more. The shows are staggered throughout late summer and fall, finally wrapping up on Nov. 23 in Miami. (One fall date in Arlington, Texas was rescheduled from this year to Nov. 6, 2024 and is already on sale.)

The hitmaker’s North American tour dates will resume next year after she takes her show across the globe. In February, the singer-songwriter will hit the road again, traveling across Australia and New Zealand through March, and in June, she’ll begin the second U.K. and Europe leg. 

Pink’s tour first launched back in June in the U.K. and Europe before making its way across North America through the spring and summer — breaking records across the way. According to a press release, the tour has already grossed a total of $350 million across all dates, including the upcoming Australia and New Zealand concerts.

The first time around, the “Just Give Me a Reason” singer brought A-list talent on the road with her, including Brandi Carlile and Pat Benatar . Crow, 61, is the latest legend to support her — playing all of the new dates — as well as the Irish pop-rock act on select dates and KidCutUp, who joined her at many shows in 2023. 

In addition to playing fan-favorite hits from throughout her career like “Raise Your Glass,” “F---in' Perfect,” and others, as well as songs off her latest release TRUSTFALL , the performer integrates her aerial acrobatics and choreography into the set on the Summer Carnival Tour. Throughout the 2023 dates, she wowed audiences by bringing out special guests like Alanis Morrissette , performing covers with her openers, singing a duet with her daughter Willow , 12, and more.  

The Grammy winner herself posted to Instagram to celebrate the extension of her tour on Tuesday. Along with an animated version of her latest tour poster, she shared in the capture how thrilled she is to get back out on the road. “We had so much fun we just GOTTA do it again!!!!!! I’m coming back so you better get the party started!!!! 💜🎡,” the star wrote. 

Tickets for the 2024 Summer Carnival Tour start off with two presales available to Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers . Both advanced sales run from Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. local time to Dec. 10 at 10 p.m. local time. The general sale begins on Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. local time on LiveNation.com .

While still playing a a handful of stadiums across the U.S. each year, George Strait retired from traditional touring in 2014. To cap off a 33-year career, the “Check Yes Or No” singer turned his final performance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, into a live album, The Cowboy Rides Away.

A handful of Nashville all-stars joined George Strait onstage for his swan song, including Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, and Sheryl Crow. The “All I Wanna Do” singer stood beside King George and performed a heartfelt version of “When Did You Stop Loving Me.”

Crow took over the second verse, emotion dripping from every note: Was it that night that you stayed out until dawn? / You know that night has haunted me for so long .

“Whoo, Sheryl Crow!” Strait shouted at the end of the performance. The nine-time GRAMMY Award winner gave her stage partner his flowers too, bowing down before him in reverence.

The instantly iconic performance is still earning praise 10 years later. “an oldie but a goodie,” one TikTok user wrote.

Another chimed in, “That’s the man right there,” while others added, “This is country.”

Still Making Music

George Strait may have retired from touring, but the 72-year-old Texan is far from finished with music. The best-selling country star recently dropped his 31st studio album, Cowboys and Dreamers, on Sept. 6.
