About Captain Andrea

The founder and owner of Marina Princess Island Boat Tours LLC , Andrea Harrison, was born and raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She’s a licensed USCG master captain, with over 20 years boating experience. In New Jersey, Andrea fulfilled a 30-year career, as the founder and owner, of a performing arts school. After moving to Florida, Captain Andrea, is living her best life as continuing her love for being on the water and doing exactly what she always dreamed of doing- owning a small and personal boat tour business, for you, your family and friends to enjoy!

We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater as it can get cooler on the water in the evening. Don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning sunset and any wildlife you might encounter. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also advisable.

Sodas are included but no food. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages, too! We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. For private sails we do provide sodas and you can bring beer and wine. 

Yes, we offer private charters for the Sunset Tour Sail. This is a great option for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, and corporate events. You can enjoy the sunset in the privacy of your own group.

Yes, our catamaran is equipped with a clean and comfortable restroom for your convenience.

Our tours operate in most weather conditions, thanks to the protected waters of the Indian River Lagoon. However, in the event of severe weather, we will reschedule your tour for another day or offer a full refund.

As you venture out with good natured river tours, you will enjoy some of florida space coasts' unique landscape and wildlife..

Your adventure takes you through part of Brevard county estuary on the Indian River Lagoon and the Banana River. North America’s Estuary on the Indian River Lagoon and Banana River. You will see playful Bottle-nose Dolphins,  Manatees, wild birds and occasionally alligators. With over 4,300 unique and localized plant species. The adventure is narrated by your U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain who will tell you the history of the Indian River lagoon and take you to the iconic landmark Dragon Point. Then relax as we cruise into the Banana River and see the Mathers Turn bridge and some of the beautiful exclusive real estate. kick back on our luxury 45 ft. boat with indoor & outdoor seating, clean bathroom and manual wheelchair handicapped friendly. While listening to Caribbean music throughout the tour in the Indian River Lagoon.

• The trip is approx 1.45 hours in length. Sunsets tour are subject to change due to weather or number of riders. Reservations required.

• All tickets are non-refundable. However, It can be moved prior to 72 hours of your selected tour. In case of weather cancellations, we will allow you to reschedule your tour at a later date but no refund will be offered.

When the Coast Guard advises us to cancel a trip due to weather, we attempt to notify you as soon as we know, so please make sure we have a local or cell number where we can contact you. ln this case we will reschedule all ticketed passengers and get you out on the next available tour. Experience indian river bioluminescence fully with up to five of your family and friends on our private bioluminescence boat tour.

After a summer sunset, the waters of the Indian and Banana River Lagoon come alive with a bioluminescent glow like only a few other places in the world. A dinoflagellate microscopic organism, Pyrodinium bahamense, responds to mechanical agitation by luminescing. A moving boat illuminates the water almost like glowing paint. A speeding school of mullet look like multiple underwater bottle rockets. A swimming dolphin trails glowing streamers like a comet. The summertime glowing waters of the Indian and Banana River Lagoon truly is a bucket-list experience .

Experience all of this from our 22ft boat – large enough to be seated comfortably while small enough to still be close to the water. You’ll experience the Indian River bioluminescence much more intimately than in larger pontoon boats or other water craft.

This is a private group tour with a maximum of five guests launching from the Cocoa Beach area.

We want our kayak tours to have a more intimate experience for every guest.  Large groups disrupt wildlife habitats and require loud guide communication and a less personalized approach.  Other kayak tour agencies put 40 or more people in a group. We typically limit the size of our tours to 12 guests .   

TRAINED GUIDES

At Fin Expeditions our guides are highly trained. Other kayak tour agencies may give their guides as little as 2 hours of training. Our guides receive 50+ hours of training before they are certified to lead a tour.

All tours leave from Kelly Park East. It is a Brevard County Park with free parking and a public restroom. Our boats have a cooler, ice and complimentary water bottles for you to enjoy. You are more than welcome to bring any food or drinks along for the ride. Please no glass containers on board.
