5 star rating!!!! Quite true to who you are and my personal history with you throughout the years...perhaps we should communicate with one another before the publishing of my book...which could not be written without a chapter or two of you!!!
We enjoyed a 3-plus hour multimedia tour of Manhattan, led by the Real Kramer. Kenny Kramer is witty and charming. He takes you through pictures, video, in-person stand up comedy, and a city bus tour. We learned a lot about Larry David and his real-world inspiration for many of the characters and events in Seinfeld. There's an opportunity to purchase souvenirs from Kra-Mart, which Kenny will gladly autograph. The bus tour included a stop for soup at the site of the sidewalk restaurant that inspired the character of the "Soup Nazi". The lobster bisque and New England clam chowder were stellar. Kramer answered a lot of questions and had a huge amount of knowledge. At the end, he gave us all a 10% coupon for two local restaurants. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. If you're a fan of the Seinfeld TV show and have 3-1/2 to 4 hours to spend on a tour, then this is the ticket for you.

I loved it! It was interesting getting to hear insight from Kenny about his life and how everything got started. There were some bumps here and there with technology, but just being there was awesome. Kenny is an incredibly nice guy and seemed to really enjoy interacting with everyone. I'm grateful to have gotten to do this. If you're a Seinfeld fan this is a must-do!
Seinfeld remains one of my all time favorite shows of all time so how could I resist going on the Seinfeld Reality Tour? In my mind I thought that we were going to get a pizza bagel and bite-sized Three Musketeers while on a bus that had a bag full of muffin stumps at the back, but that is not exactly what happened. We actually met at the Producer's Club Theater and Kenny Kramer made an hour+ long multimedia presentation. He spoke about his relationships with Larry David and later Jerry Seinfeld, the genesis of the show and essentially what was fact vs. what was fiction. Kenny is very funny and engaging so the hour flew by. The next portion of the tour might not have been as well received by other tour guests - a visit to "kra-mart" to look at all of the Seinfeld/Kramer merchandise, but Christmas is coming and I have a lot of friends that love Seinfeld so the Vandelay Industries bumper stickers were a hit with me. The motor coach was nice and modern. Our first stop was to the Soup Nazi's where I partaked in a cup of Lobster Bisque and Kenny gave the opportunity to have your picture taken with him. The coach then drove up the Upper West Side with Kenny showing us various sites that were referred to or used in the show. Because quite a few years have passed since the show concluded, a lot of the sites, like Kenny Rogers Roasters, are no longer in business. The less than $40 price tag, Kenny's funny and well thought out presentation and the opportunity to re-visit one of the greatest tv shows ever made makes this the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Kenny Kramer
Creepy guy, made inappropriate jokes. You don't see much of the city and the first hour made me fall asleep and the bus was dirty. If you're a huge fan of Seinfeld just go to the places yourself.
Booked this on a whim as we're both Seinfeld fans. We weren't sure what to expect, but boy are we glad we went. Kenny Kramer begins with a 45 minute talk detailing the rise of Seinfeld and the friendship between Kenny and Larry David. We learned more in that time than in years of sharing trivia. Then there's a brief break to buy merch (ASSMAN license plate, anyone?) before boarding the bus. The bus itself is a nice coach, very comfortable. The tour visits many of the sites featured in the show (though a few have undergone some changes.) A highlight was the Soup Man...the lobster bisque is seriously that good. FYI - a few people hopped off the bus before returning to the theater, so if you end up in a time crunch, that shouldn't be a problem.
My boyfriend loved this tour but I had a few issues with it. It started off OK with a 45 Min entertaining glimpse into the real Kramer and some of the people behind Seinfeld. I also didn't mind the shameless plugging of merchandise which was done by Kenny is a fun way. Once the bus part started however I found it underwhelming. I was sitting a few seats behind but was unable to hear Kenny who was mumbling a lot of what we're probably quite interesting g stories into a muffled microphone. I caught maybe half of the stories. We. Stopped for soup which wasn't included in the tour price which caught me slightly unaware as in the blurb it seemed to indicate it was included. Then we were forced to eat the soup on a moving cramped bus and I got it all over me. No other stops just a general muffled monologue and some Seinfeld and Larry David clips on a tiny video TV which again was hard to hear. It wasn't much fun and very little Seinfeld info and I think maybe Kenny Kramer was feeling a bit over it that day cause the five star reviews I read don't reflect my experience at all. I give it three stars because my beloved enjoyed it and that made me happy.
Kenny ( the real ) Kramer is a wealth of information and fun facts about Seinfeld. His tour is a lot of fun and a great activity- see Seinfeld sites, learn interesting inside scoops!!
If you are a Seinfeld fan, this is a must! Kenny Kramer was so welcoming, personable, and Seinfeld-behind-the-scenes-knowledgeable. It feels like you get to be a part of the Seinfeld episode with the Reality Peterman tour (except you're on the real tour that inspired that episode!!). It's low maintenance, low budget, and nonchalant, in a way that let's you know that Cosmo Kramer really was inspired by this real life personality. He's a real character! As a bonus, he will autograph anything, take pictures with each person, and answer each person's Seinfeld questions. He even let me videotape him saying hi to one of my family members that couldn't make it to the tour, so it's a real personal experience with him. Go now!

I want to say in like 96 or 97 Kenny Kramer who Kramer is based on, did a reality tour in New York like on the show. I don't know how my parents found out about it but we went one day. It started in a super small theater on the upper west side where he told stories about being friends with Seinfeld and Larry David.
Wish I could remember more details of it. And yes, he did serve us the same candy bar that Cosmo Kramer served on his Peterman Reality Tour. As an aside in 2010 was in small grocery store in the West side and recognized Jerry Stiller shopping as well.
