For your convenience, Cash-to-Card kiosks are located throughout the park to convert your cash to a prepaid debit card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted for no additional fee.

What is the ticket policy?

Unless otherwise noted, all ticket orders (admission and meal/drink add-ons) must be received 14 days prior to your visit to allow sufficient time to process your order. 

Admission tickets and meal/drink add-ons are non-refundable. No rain checks are offered.

How will I receive my tickets?

Unless you have purchased tickets directly online, groups of 100+ or who ordered via order form will receive their tickets digitally through MyGroup Tickets, an online platform where you’ll receive and manage your group ticket order. Otherwise, they will be sent to you directly. 

What is the payment policy?

Payments can be received via checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover cards. Checks should be made payable to California’s Great America. Purchase orders are not accepted. All school checks will be processed through California’s Great America’s finance department for approval. If declined, another method of payment will be requested. 

What forms of payment are accepted in the park?

What is the chaperone policy?

One chaperone admission ticket will be provided for every 15 admission tickets purchased. Complimentary tickets do not include meal/drink add-ons. Please note that season passholders in your group do not count toward the total group number that would qualify for the complimentary tickets.

What is the inclement weather policy? 

In the event of inclement weather or unscheduled maintenance, certain rides may not be available. Programs, venues, dates, and fees are subject to change and/or cancellation. 

What is the food and drink policy?

No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed in the park. Exceptions are made for guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food and formula. Guests with special dietary needs should stop at Guest Services located at the Main Gate when they arrive at the park.

How does bus parking work?

Bus/motor coach parking is free. Bus drivers will receive a complimentary admission ticket when presenting their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to Guest Services. Complimentary admission tickets do not include meal/drink add-ons.

The Santa Clara Fire Museum is housed in an old training center behind the Santa Clara Fire House in Santa Clara.

 The museum contains numerous memorabilia from 1855 when the Santa Clara Fire Department was established.

The Santa Clara Fire Museum showcases photographs, documents, and fire equipment like fire extinguishers, nozzles, and hoses.

The museum features an excellently refurbished Model T Ford truck purchased by the Santa Clara Fire Department. It was used as a she truck from 1921-1945, and it has been well refurbished by volunteers.

The Santa Clara Fire Museum is open to everyone as well as school groups with educational programs relating to fire safety.

22. Ulistac Natural Area

Ulistac Natural Area is a forty-one acre open space that brings you close and helps you communicate with nature.

The area is committed to preserving the native Californian vegetation and wildlife with a variety of natural habitats.

Ulistac Natural Area consists of riparian woodland, grassland, savannah, wetlands, coastal scrub, and other natural habitats.

Ulistac Natural Area consists of natural trails featuring interpretative signs, and it was once a seasonal camp for the Ohlone Indians.

This preserve was used as a golf course in the mid-20th century, as grazing land for sheep and cattle during the Spanish and Mexican conquest era, and as agricultural land for 19th-century Chinese settlers.
