I dealt with a lovely lady who was amazing, helping me to get everything I needed for our family trip. Nitika Khanduja spent a lot of time to get us the best deal with 13 people 5 flying home earlier. She has got us all on the same flight going out! She also managed to find flights that allowed for stops which suited the disabled person we are flying with. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends and would use her again when we next look to travel. She is a true credit to the company, with amazing customer service, patience and even stayed late to ensure everything was finalised for us. Feel very fortunate to have got Nitika as she did all the hard work in getting everything to tie up.

I contacted World Tour Store to help with booking my flights to Australia which as you may imagine was quite complex, with flights changing and prices going up and down. I actually got a good price for my ticket to Sydney on the website, but decided to call up and speak to someone, as it was a lot of money for my flight. Namita was the agent who took my call, and we spent the next hour, reviewing my options very carefully. She was most helpful, patient and got me a great price when I wanted to travel. the follow up care of sending me everything I need via email and Whats App was also fantastic and very speedy. Overall an excellent experience and I would recommend Namita and World Tour Store.

Good experience

I had earlier booked on their website for a price of £1305, the payment didn’t go through so I contacted them later, Namita handled my case diligently, she said that the flight was no longer available at the price, and said the next available ticket is priced at £1592.22. I agreed to the price as it was still comparatively much cheaper than other alternatives. The booking process was very smooth over the phone call, she is very good at communication. However, it would be good to see some improvements made on the site to avoid ambiguous prices being advertised in the first place.

World Travel Store - excellent service and price

World Travel Store price for 2 premium economy tickets to Tokyo was £3k less than booking direct with BA. But I was unsure about using them having read the 1 star reviews. I phoned and Nitika was extremely helpful explaining the process. After paying the e-ticket took 24 hours to come and it was reassuring to see the booking on the BA website. Also WTS are ATOL registered. It seems a lot of the 1star reviews are people who delay confirming their requested booking or delay payment and during this time gap the price goes up. My recommendation is make your booking enquiry on the phone and if you want to go ahead make the payment whilst still on the phone!

Really faultless experience

To start, the price of my tickets were considerably cheaper than even the airline directly. Next, customer service was excellent from start to finish. I was wary as reviews were not great on the website. However, my experience was faultless. On this basis, I'd use the agency again and would recommend.

Online fares not honoured

Online fares on travel aggregates not honoured. Online booking is declined. Followed up by a phone call. Fares advertised no longer available. They try to sell you same itinerary with significant price increase. Company is not a member of ABTA, so you can't even complain. Caveat emptor "let the buyer beware". 50% of travel agents on flight aggregates sites have adapted an unscrupulous way to get more money off you.

5 star all the way

Trip booked

Thank you Namita for organising my trip to Australia. Efficient, friendly, patient. Just what you need when, like me, you are a bit nervous about getting something booked and making sure it’s the right ticket. Namita advised that a lot of the airline tickets you see advertised on cheap flight websites are for standby tickets i.e. the seat is not 100% guaranteed and you could get bumped off the flight if overbooked! Also not flexible if you have to change plans for any reason. It’s such a minefield and so helpful to have Namita guiding me through the process and getting me the right ticket at a fair price. I initially booked tickets to Nigeria, however received a call from Namibia, explaining it was unfortunately stand by tickets. You get there in the end and for a good price!

The process you need to go through to get your tickets feels a little unorthodox and can be anxiety inducing as it asks for you to pay through a secondary link and there’s a wait to receive your ticket but the staff on the phone are very comforting and speak you through everything. Divyanshu was wonderful and very helpful. I hope he’s in charge of your booking!

Great service

After trawling through all the comparison sites and getting upcharged over and over again on baggage, seat selection and all other sorts of items. I ended up trying this business. They not only had cheaper flights then the comparison site, but gave me a call and walked me through my options and managed to have it all sorted for me with a few hours. Scamming people

10 minutes after they called to say the return flight was no longer available at same price. Tried to waitlist us! please cancel flights. They tried to claim that we had to pay as the outbound leg was already booked. I insisted they cancel the booking and they still tried to insist i couldn't!The whole thing is an awful scamming sales tactic, intentionally listing outdated, lower fares to entice people in and trying to convince people they have no choice but to pay more, rather than cancel and book elsewhere.

Very helpful

I booked a short notice flight 2 days ago for my brother. I was helped by Priya who went out of her way to help me including completing my booking pass. There was a hiccup with how my brothers name was spelt on the ticket, I do feel that I should have been asked to spell his name but accept that I should have fore thought that name on ticket has to match passport and should have spelt my brothers name out to Priya. Turkish airlines was contacted by the company and everything was sorted out. What I would say is when booking a flight ensure name is spelt out and read back to you as it can be a very costly mistake.

It is better than the avg compared to industry standards, but the industry itself is a sad example of operating on the boundary lines of what you could call ethical. Still, with that reality in mind, they are offering you a relative low price in comparison to others. The lady that helped me (Soniya) can't help this I'd say, she did all she could.

Definitely avoid this scam compay

Definitely avoid this scam compay! The low price flights are fake, this is a sales trap. They will show cheap prices then call you to say the flight isn't available and request additional money. You are better off booking elsewhere. Very dishonest sales tactic. They explain that this is due to the dynamic price of flight tickets, but I have never experienced this kind of dynamics before this one.

Very negative and stressful experience…

Very negative and stressful experience with World Tour Store. I booked a flight online on their website and made the payment. They make you hurry to make the payment within 5 to 10 mins. After 2 days of payment , there is still no ticket issued. They keep calling and give excuses like extra baggage, even though baggage was mentioned in the ticket, waitlisted legs, dynamic tickets, however the same price was available on their website since 5 days and the booking was also done within the timeframe mentioned on their site. Very shady practices.

It could only be God

This lovely, wonderful n blessed lady named Namita, worked so hard to get me exactly what I asked for 2 days. Not 5 but 105 stars is not good enough for her. She is amazing. She managed to find me a good price flight going out n put me on the same flight to return with my wife who is already in Australia. My wife's airline couldn't do that but Namita works with her heart n not only her computer.

Will never use them.

I booked a ticket from this organisation and had to take them to a small claims court to get my refund. I had trusted the reviews of Trustpilot before making my purchase, which was not what I experienced. I had to pay a court fee to get a partial refund. We live in civilized society and should be honest about our experiences with services we purchase. They did not seems to understand who a customers is. Review sites are about sharing our genuine experiences. I stand by this review . I had a painful experience with this organisation and will never book from them again.

Thank you Namita. With your help I was able to book a flight for my son to San Francisco. You were both professional and approachable and spent some considerable time seeking to find the best way to meet my needs. I would say however that I was somewhat peeved by the fact that the price quoted on the website when I initially sought to book the flight became unavailable and this felt like a sprat to catch a mackerel. I would add that this was incredibly disappointing and had it not been for the conciliatory and helpful approach by you Namita, I would have cancelled the booking and sought booking with a competitor. I am aware of the full explanation of how this happened but this did not help my pocket. I would add that also I did feel listened to and my views appreciated by you and thank you ultimately for your help in spite of paying more than had been anticipated for the ticket. To conclude therefore Namita was the difference between my continuing with my booking and not cancelling it.

If we ever return (and it would be nice to do so!!!) we would love to have them as our guides! All the drivers were courteous and professional! Trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg

East West Tours arranged our trip to Russia a few years ago. We stayed at the hotel Aquamarine in Moscow and Petro Palace in St. Petersburg. Both hotels were recommended and booked by East West Tours. They were good 4* properties, centrally located, with fairly large rooms and good service, and very delicious buffet breakfasts. We took an overnight train from Moscow to St. Petersburg. At first we were hesitant about taking the night train and concerned about comfort and security but the agent from East West Tours assured us that we would like it and she was 100% right! It turned out to be quite comfortable and we were able to sleep through the night. The tour guide in St. Petersburg deserves a special mention, she was a gem! Perfect English, encyclopedic knowledge of the subject, patience and willingness to go an extra mile to keep her tourists happy. Both drives and the guide in Moscow were good too. This was a memorable trip and we were lucky to have East West Tour arrange it for us.

East-West tours extremely easy to deal with.

Four of us booked the Tsarengeld train package from Beijing to Moscow with an add on to St. Petersburg. We worked with Bobby at East West Tours, who was an excellent agent. He did everything including securing our visas for China and Russia. We couldn't have done it without him. Our add-on in St. Petersburg stay was great. We loved the hotel and our personal guide. There was one hiccup on a transfer and he fixed it quickly. I am a retired travel agent and have dealt with many tour operators and I can sincerely say that East West tours is one of the best.

This was a wonderful tour. We loved every part of it. Masha, in particular, was a real treasure. She was extremely knowledgeable and great company. Also, she was flexible when we needed it, and made our visit smooth as silk.

St. Petersburg visa free cruise

We took their St. Petersburg visa free cruise from Stockholm through Helsinki to St. Petersburg. We were impressed with the cruise line (great food) and the tour of St. Petersburg was first rate. We had a small group tour and Maria (Masha) was an incredibly knowledgable guide. She grew up in St. Petersburg and had many insights into the city and it's history. We were able to visit Pushkin, Catherine's Palace and Petershof as well as many historic sites in the city. St. Petersburg is a beautiful city and everyone should see it.

Alex Planned Great First Trip to St. Petersburg

My wife and I worked with Alex to plan out trip to St. Petersburg from Helsinki. Alex had the important correct information and he made calls to get us a Deluxe room on the ferry. Guests with a Deluxe room get on and off the ferry first thing which is a big deal when there are 100's of anxious people in line! The hotel in St. Petersburg was the best hotel of the entire trip. It would easily be categorized as a four star hotel in the U.S. The tour guide , Anastasia, was excellent in that she was a walking historian about the life of the Czar's and took great pride in sharing her knowledge. The food on the ferry was average but Anastasia took us to a stroganoff place in St. Petersburg that was better than the original Stroganoff Restaurant. She even obtained ballet tickets for us to Swan Lake at the Alexandrinsky Theater; not easy to do in the summer! Lee

St. Petersburg starts to grow on you...

Thank you Bobby for making all arrangements for my trip. I had a great time in St. Petersburg & Maria Ganina was a superb guide and took me everywhere and made sure I had a good time and saw as much as possible. She told great stories about the history. I loved the hotel Domina Prestige too. It was comfy and chic. Am so glad I made this trip and found new perspective, and saw so many places. I did some shopping late evening too in the mall Galleria. St. Petersburg starts to grow on you.

Fabulous St. Petersburg tour with East West Tours

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our St. Petersburg tour. Everything about it was really excellent, particularly Masha, our tour guide. She was always in good spirits, intelligent, helpful, and exceptionally well informed. We both thought she was a particular asset to represent your company because she had so many admirable qualities and was so nice to be around. The bus driver was also a very safe and cautious driver. We could never have done this on our own in the amount of time we had there. The logistics for getting us into various museums, palaces and so on must have been hair raising since the city was so crowded with tourists. Our hotel was really nice and we actually ate there a couple of nights because we were too exhausted to go out. The food was very good, the hotel was extremely comfortable, and the location was great. We did get a 3 year Russian visa because we're interested in taking the Trans-Siberian rail trip from Moscow to Beijing next year. I'll explore the options for that a bit later. Thanks again for the experience. We are still enjoying reliving our trip there.

Russsia, Mongolia and China

I can not say enough positive about the professionalism, attention to detail and organization plus the knowledge of the staff assembled by East West - tours for my 3 week trip to Russia. Originally I had planned to spend only 2 days in ST Petersburg but Dora pointed out that I would not do the city justice in just 2 days, I changed to 4 days and do not regret the decision for a moment, truly one of the great cities in the world with so much history. Traveled on to Moscow and than took the Trans-Siberian RR thru Russia over to Mongolia. The scheduling and attention to detail made all go as needed, with everyone on time. The hotel recommendations were excellent quality hotels with staff that was well informed about local restaurants and bars. The hotels were typically in the heart of the city where all the action was On the trip I had 6 different tour guides each extraordinarily knowledgeable about Russian history and Mongolia, felt very safe and having a driver in addition to the guide made travel much simpler. Stockholm - Helsinki - St. Petersburg - Tallin - Stockholm Cruise

I really enjoyed my trip! The guide and the hotel in St. Petersburg were awesome. The places we visited in St. Petersburg were amazing as well. I also enjoyed the time on the boat. The food was great. Moreover, I enjoyed the time in Helsinki and Tallin. I only had a few hours in these cities, but with good planning it is possible to make the most of these hours. I also liked the fact the tour was starting in Stockholm in the evening and ending in Stockholm in the morning. That gave me some time to visit Stockholm.

Tour Russia through East West Tours

Our Russian vacation was one of the best of our lives. Everything went well. Everyone was on time and where they should have been. We enjoyed each guide. They were all different, which made it all the more interesting. It was hard to pick a favorite. Nobody played "my country is better than yours" and we did not play that game either. It did not seem appropriate. Still there was no topic that was off the table, so we had very many stimulating discussions with our Russian guides. As far as Russia itself, I think we learned more in two weeks than I would have imagined. The guides were so informative. Both Moscow and especially St. Petersburg were beautiful. St. Petersburg has replaced Rome as my wife's favorite city. As you predicted, we never felt threatened. There was the expected awkwardness that comes with the language problem, but I never felt discriminated against because I asked "do you speak English." I suppose the fact that we were willing to go to Russia when others were not speaks for itself. But I now feel even more comfortable with Russia. I should pitch Dora. She encouraged us to remain in the tour when everyone else was scared off because of Crimea. It would have been easier for her to cancel the whole tour. Organizing a tour for 2 brave people must have consumed much of her time with little financial reward. She showed no regrets or hesitations. She was always easy to deal with.

Yes the trip was very successful! I can't wait to go back. The only negative for the trip was the wait for the overnight train. Our tours during the day ended around 5pm but the train wasn't till about 11pm. There wasn't much to do close by to the hotel so we had dinner and then just sat in the lobby of the hotel for a few hours. Would have been better if we had more activities to do/been told about things we could do in the evening perhaps. Our guide in Moscow was Olga. She was extremely knowledgeable, but she walked really really slow! I felt like we might have been able to see a bit more if we walked faster haha Also at times we would walk along in silence because Olga felt like we wouldn't have been able to take in so much information. But I think I would have preferred to listen to a few facts as we walked around (especially since we walked so slow so had a lot of time). We had Masha and another lady whose name I've forgotten in St Petetsburg who were both wonderful. We definitely felt as though Masha was going out of her way to make sure we experienced as much of St Petetsburg as possible. We appreciated that she suggested and offered to help us to buy tickets to extra activities we could do in the evenings like boat tours or shows. She also suggested a number of restaurants which we tried and were all very good! The driver we had on the day we went out to Pushkin etc was really lovely. All of our car transfers went quite smoothly and made the travel aspect of the trip hassle free.

Dora, owner of East-West Travel arranged my trip to Russia and I can't thank her enough for such a marvelous trip. The Taleon Imperial Hotel was awesome - could not have been any better. The room was comfortable and the service was impeccable. On Victory Day, I had my hair styled in the hotel salon and enjoyed a fabulous dinner of caviar on the terrace of the hotel while watching the parade. Another great surprise was being able to stay in a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price!!! Maria Ganina, our tour guide arranged by East West Travel was amazing. Without her, we would have spent the time wandering around, not knowing what we were seeing and would have ended up spending a lot of time in restaurants. I learned so much, which was my whole reason for going. She was always on time and I really loved traveling around seeing the real Russia. I cannot thank her enough for making my trip so memorable. I feel like I have a new friend in Russia! All the plans went off without a hitch, and I would not have dreamed of going without the services of a good travel agent who is experienced in Russia and a guide who took me everywhere I wanted to go. Car travel, visas, admissions to all the sites and no standing in lines are just a few reasons to use East-West Travel and I would not hesitate to use them again. Overall, it was a trip of a lifetime. You should go to Russia. You won't regret it.
